How far back does the history go?

To the token’s first trade on the XRP Ledger’s exchange. range=ALL covers all of it; for a long history in small candles, page back with resolution, cb and to.

Do I need an API key?

No. The candle API works without a key at a lower rate limit. Any app that shows the data must credit xrpl.to with a visible link.

XRPL Historical Token Data

Every token traded on the XRP Ledger’s exchange has a price history: open, high, low and close for each period, with the XRP traded. On xrpl.to it is on the token’s chart, in a CSV file, and in a free API, for all 20,468 tokens the site lists.

From the chart

Open a token’s page, pick the time frame and candle size on the chart, and use the CSV button on the chart’s toolbar to save those candles. Prices can be shown in XRP or in a fiat currency.

Credit and terms

The API is free to call, with or without a key. An app, site, bot or dashboard that shows the data must show a visible, clickable “Data by xrpl.to” credit on the same screen, and storing the data to serve it again from your own API needs permission first (API terms).
