Where launches appear
- New: every token as it appears, newest first, with its pool and holders.
- Launchpads: FirstLedger, xrpl.to and others each have their own list.
- The xrpl.to Telegram bot posts new launches to a chat, and its sniper can buy each one automatically with an amount you set.
What to check in the first minutes
- LP burned. Below 100%, whoever holds the rest of the LP tokens can withdraw that share of the pool at any time.
- Who holds the supply. The creator, or a handful of wallets that bought at launch, can sell into every buyer.
- The pool against your buy. On a pool of a few hundred XRP, a buy of a few XRP already moves the price (liquidity checker).
- The issuer’s powers. A blackholed issuer can never issue more or freeze anything (token safety guide).
Trading early without losing more than you meant to
- Size every buy as a loss you can take. A token hours old has no history to judge it by.
- Decide your exit before you buy, and sell part on the way up rather than waiting for a top.
- Use a limit order when the price is jumping, so a spike does not fill you at its peak (limit orders).
- Each token you hold keeps 0.2 XRP in reserve on its trust line until you sell all of it.
Red flags
- A name or logo copied from a known token, from a different issuer.
- Most of the supply in one to three wallets, with nothing locked.
- LP tokens kept by the creator rather than burned.
- “Airdrops” or rewards that ask you to send XRP first.
Questions
- Where do new XRP Ledger tokens appear first?
- On launchpads such as FirstLedger and xrpl.to, and on the ledger itself the moment an issuer creates a pool. xrpl.to’s New page lists them as they appear, newest first.
- What does “LP burned” mean?
- An AMM pool’s liquidity belongs to whoever holds its LP tokens. If the creator sent them to an address nobody can sign for, nobody can withdraw that share of the pool; a share that is not burned can be pulled out, taking the XRP that sellers would be paid from.
- Should I use an auto-buy bot for new launches?
- It buys every launch it is set to, including the ones that fail. If you use one, keep the amount per launch small enough to lose.
