XRPL Token Launchpads - Pump.fun Alternatives for XRP
A launchpad issues a token, opens its first pool and lists it in one guided flow. Several do it on the XRP Ledger; here is how many tokens each has launched, what a launch on xrpl.to costs, and how it differs from pump.fun on Solana.
Launchpads by tokens launched
FirstLedger16,687 tokens
XPMarket1,519 tokens
Magnetic X1,303 tokens
Horizon150 tokens
xrpl.to57 tokensLaunching on xrpl.to
The launch wizard issues the token, creates its AMM pool, then, in a standard launch, blackholes both the issuer and the wallet holding the pool’s LP tokens, so no more can be issued and the liquidity can never be withdrawn, and lists the token at once. A launch with a 100 XRP pool needs 105 XRP in all, and xrpl.to keeps 3% of the supply.
| No creator allocation | 2 XRP |
| 1–30% of supply to the creator | 5 XRP |
| 31–60% | 10 XRP |
| 61–90% | 15 XRP |
The XRP Ledger and pump.fun
- No paying to go first. On Solana a priority fee buys earlier processing (Solana docs); on the XRP Ledger the order inside a ledger is shuffled and cannot be bought (how).
- The pool is part of the ledger. The AMM and the order book are built in, so a token trades on both from its first minute, with no program to deploy.
- Speed. Solana produces a block about every 400 milliseconds; an XRP Ledger ledger closes every 3 to 5 seconds and is final when it does.
- Holders opt in. A buyer needs a trust line, which holds 0.2 XRP of their balance in reserve; wallets and xrpl.to open it inside the buy.
Before buying a launch
- LP burned: under 100%, someone can withdraw part of the pool.
- Issuer blackholed: if not, more can be issued.
- Who holds the supply: the creator’s share, and wallets that bought in the first ledger.

Questions
- What is the pump.fun of the XRP Ledger?
- By tokens launched, FirstLedger, followed by XPMarket and Magnetic X. Each launches a token with an AMM pool and lists it at once; they differ in fees and in the rules for the creator’s share.
- How much does it cost to launch a token on the XRP Ledger?
- xrpl.to’s quote for a launch with a 100 XRP pool is 105 XRP, most of it the pool itself; the item-by-item breakdown is in the launch cost guide.
- Can a launch be front-run on the XRP Ledger?
- Bots race for the same ledger, but nobody can pay to be placed first: the order inside a ledger is shuffled, so a front-run is a gamble rather than a purchase.
